With British summers becoming increasingly warmer and heatwaves more common, you may have been considering how to keep your home comfortable. Shaun, a customer from Worcestershire, was considering exactly that before he reached out to Sustain Heating and Renewables.

After living in his 30-year-old home for 10 years, Shaun knew he wanted a long-term solution for keeping his house comfortable, rather than relying on fans that never really did the job. He knew air conditioning was a great way to lower the temperature inside his home and decided it was time to invest in a system.

Why Shaun Chose Sustain for His Air Conditioning Installation

When searching for an air conditioning installer, Shaun paid close attention to customer reviews and Which Trusted Trader ratings. He was recommended to reach out to Sustain Heating and Renewables and said:

“From the very first phone call, it was clear they were professional, knowledgeable and genuinely easy to deal with. Their reputation for quality workmanship gave me real confidence in choosing them over other companies.”

Naturally, Shaun had the usual questions anyone would have before investing in an air conditioning system. How disruptive would the installation be, how big are the units, and is it financially worth the investment? Our team at Sustain was able to quickly put to rest any concerns he may have had and talked through every aspect of the system and install process before proceeding.

A Clear, No-Pressure Air Conditioning Survey

To ensure the correct sized air conditioning system was fitted for Shaun’s home, the Sustain team attended to survey the property. Shaun commented:

“The survey was thorough and unhurried, and the quotation was clear, detailed and completely transparent with no hidden surprises. There was no pressure at any point – just honest, expert advice on the best system for my home.”

Following the survey, the property was fitted with a Midea Breezeless E system, with three sleek wall-mounted units inside the home and one outdoor unit serving them all. As well as cooling the rooms in warmer weather, the system can also provide heating.

What Happens During a Home Air Conditioning Installation?

For this installation, our engineers fitted three wall-mounted Midea Breezeless E units inside the home, all connected to one outdoor unit. The outdoor unit was securely mounted on an exterior wall using an anti-vibration bracket, while insulated pipework and external trunking were installed neatly between the indoor and outdoor units.

The installation also included the necessary electrical connections and isolator; condensate pipework to safely drain moisture from the system; and Wi-Fi connectivity so the air conditioning can be controlled using a smartphone app.

Once everything was installed, the system was fully commissioned and tested, and our engineers showed the homeowner how to use the controls before leaving.

Despite initially expecting the work to be quite disruptive, Shaun found the process much easier than anticipated, describing the installation as “quick, clean and hassle-free”.

The Results: A Cooler, More Comfortable Home

After fitting the Midea Breezeless E air conditioning units, Shaun has been able to keep his home in Upton-upon-Severn, Worcestershire, cool and comfortable regardless of outside temperatures. Shaun comments:

“The system has been performing brilliantly – quiet, efficient and completely reliable. It’s exceeded my expectations in every way.”

Shaun has also noticed manageable running costs, noting that the efficient technology of the units has allowed him to keep energy usage sensible whilst delivering cool air to his home, in comparison to consistently running several electric fans.

Why Shaun Recommends Sustain Heating and Renewables

Reflecting on his experience with Sustain, Shaun says:

“The installation was perfect from start to finish. The engineers were punctual, courteous and incredibly tidy, and they clearly took real pride in their work. It all ran like clockwork and was completed exactly on schedule.

I was genuinely surprised by how quick, clean and hassle-free the whole process was. The team left the house spotless and took the time to fully explain how everything worked before they left, which exceeded my expectations completely.”
